We are very excited to announce our return to the museum in Lexington for the first time in over four years! We will be jumping back in with the last band that played for us in January of 2020: The Gibson Brothers. They will be bringing their world-class brand of bluegrass with brother-duet harmonies, and they will be joined by Shawn Lane! You may know Shawn as the mandolin player, tenor singer, and a founding member of Blue Highway.

Opening for The Gibson Brothers will be an incredibly talented young band named Cahaba Roots. Cahaba Roots features Luke Black on guitar, who is famous on social media for his playing with The Mountain Grass Unit. Luke will be joined by G Rockwell on banjo, Hilary Weitzner on fiddle, and Teddy Kent on upright bass. With the exception of G, who goes to NEC, the rest of the band attends Berklee. There, they regularly join up with players from the school and surrounding areas to breathe new life into the already diverse, intense, and virtuosic chemistry found in their music. The group strives to create intense instrumentation to bluegrass and progressive acoustic music, and they consistently impress with their youthful passion and life on stage.

Doors open at 6:30, general admission seating.  Online ticket sales will close at 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 27.

Please log in to see BBU Member pricing.  Click on Register button for ticket purchase. Online sales will stop at 7 PM on Friday, April 26. Tickets will be available at the door.
